The community held it's annual celebration of the holiday season. There was a large group - somewhere between 75 and 100 folks. Trumpet music was provided by JessieTubb, and several carols were sung. Most folks stayed around for a while after the lighting and moved into Carroll Baldwin Hall to enjoy cookies and drinks.

Immediately following the Christmas tree lighting ceremony the Carroll Baldwin Memorial Institute auctioned a painting donated by Savage Mill artist Roxana Sinex. After an intense bidding battle this amazing painting of Baldwin Hall raised $1000. The money will go towards funding the continued renovations and improvements to The Hall.
