The 30th annual Savage Fest promises a day of fun for all ages and a chance to meet friends old and new. Originating in Savage Days festivities from the 1920s, Savage Fest conveys the charm and vibrancy of this small town.
The festivities open at 9 am with a community parade into the center of town. The celebration continues on Baldwin Common with live music, dance performances, a disc dog demonstration, pony rides, a mobile game arcade, historic reenactments, a petting zoo, games, crafts, a variety of vendors, food and more.

Savage Fest Shows and Events
Ellis & Doyle – An energetic, summery blend of tunes, old and new, familiar and original.
Commodore Joshua Barney (1759-1818) – A historical reenactment by local thespian Chuck Dick.
High Heat – Classic rock and soul tunes from the 60’s ‘til now.
Joyful Motion – Discover the joy of dance in Savage Mill.
Jukin’ – Multiple lead guitars will rock your world with southern rock classics.
Integrity Martial Arts – Youth and adults demonstrate the martial arts style of Tae Kwon Do.
Disc Dog – Diane LaPoma will provide a Freestyle Disc Dog demonstration with Cooper and Piper.
Car Smash Fundraiser – Support the Savage Volunteer Fire Department and smash a car with a sledgehammer after they demonstrate how to cut open a car.
Field Games in the Grass – Balloon Stomp, Sack Race, and Blindfolded Race organized by Koinonia Ministries.
Bean Bag Toss – Overall high-score winners will receive a Historic Savage t-shirt.
Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, and Bouncy Castle & Slide – Fun for kids provided by D&D Pony Rides.
Military Activities – Stop by, say hi, and compete to see if you can set the Savage Fest record for the football toss, cornhole, pullup contest, sit-up contest, and tug-of-war.
